What is the point of having a bell tree?

They are used as decoration as far as I know. You can also plant them to get normal (just shake off the bell bags then you have a normal tree without a sapling).

People like having something to rub in other's faces, like filling your town with gold flowers and the trees have money on them.

To get money of course. It's a short-term profit anyway. It's mainly for decor.

I used them for decoration in my Cherish town. They look good with the gold house, gold roses, pyrimid, and gold path.

For decoration basically. Or if people like "betting," they can use the bell trees to bet money. Literally.

The bell trees are pretty bad money though, you usually go even or lose some iirc. But the main use of them is prob for decor. I think I have a few in one of my towns as decor.

A lot of people plant 1000 bells to get normal oak trees its quicker than buying from Leif's shop.
