One year before the first Harry Potter book came out in England, an American author called T.A. Barron began a 5-book epic collectively called The Lost Years of Merlin, after the title of the first book. It follows Merlin's unknown childhood from ages 12-16 and takes place on an island called Fincayra, the precursor to Avalon, which is described as "an in-between place"; not really on Earth, but not in the spirit world either (this was a pre-christianity, largely welsh cultural setting with a touch of celtic, so the concept of Heaven wouldn't exist to the characters)
My island is ironically called Arizona. It doesn’t have any significance. My island’s flag is a sunset over a desert landscape. I just can’t believe that, until recently, the only cactus item we had in this game was that mini cactus set.
I just restarted my game and named my island Sashimi which is my cats nickname ( her actual name is Sasha.)
She passed away last week so I decided I would name my island after her.
my island name is axolotl, and i got the name from a thread that @/sierra i miss you made. there’s not really any meaning behind it, i just like axolotls lol.

My towns have always been named bunny with no caps because its what I named my first ton when I I was little. Bunny's are my favorite animal as well!! Rainbow is called Rainbow just because the town is rainbow and childish themed! I love my towns!
My island's called A'o Ia ... It's a Hawaiian shout of encouragement ... I have a total lack of imagination and creativity so I went the Hawaiian route with my tropical island name !!
my island is named `teacake`. i got my first animal crossing game (wild world) for easter the year it came out, so it has always reminded me of spring; hence toasted teacake. (a delicacy here in england ♡)
I thought it would be a fitting name since I am Italian and Cosa Bella in English means "Beautiful Thing" which is fitting for a tropical island covered in flowers and lovely trees everywhere.
Ha... Ha... Ha... I used to have a youtube channel and now have a twitch channel, called "Totally_RandomYT" so I wanted my island to be named after it. "Rando Isle"
Nothing amazing. I just named it Cedar Cove since I couldn't really think of a name at the time and it sounded both cozy and nature-esque at the same time. A kind of name where someone would go for vacation.
picked the name windfall because i wanted something botw-ish for my stone/nature-based island. turns out there's a place named windfall in wind waker lol, my island looks nothing like it though
My island is called "Error," which is the name I've used for all of my main town names since the GameCube version. The name was originally chosen as a joke as I didn't actually expect to enjoy the game anywhere near as much as I did, I just thought it would be a thing I'd play a couple times here and there and then never touch again (it was a GameStop "bargain bin" kind of pickup alongside many other games). The name itself was a reference to the fact that my computer at the time was dealing with a particularly nasty virus that caused it to error out and blue screen all the time.
I named my town “Lumina” from the Latin root “lumen” meaning “light”, since I like studying astronomy. I thought it was pretty and it rhymes with my name, winonah.
I chose Teacup again Well my first island was Teacup which I regret restarting but the first reason is because I do like a good cup of tea and afternoon tea is my favourite with the lil cakes or scones
