What is the big deal about time travel, anyway?

I am a member of the TTC and I don't care what others think. we've all bought the game, me can all choose to play it how we want.

If the option is there, people are going to use it. That's the bottom line. I don't TT much because I like having something to look forward to the next day, but shaming people for TTing is just conceited.

It gives TTers an unfair advantage over people who don't TT.
It really, really doesn't. Anyone is free to time travel if they wish. If they choose not to, then power to them. (: This isn't even a competitive game. Kinda silly.

I agree with this part. If you have a completed town before anyone else, who cares. It's your town.
But I do know that feeling you get when you go to someone's town an they have 50 golden roses and a mansion.
I personally think TT'ing speeds up the process of completing projects. I think it's BS to have to wait a whole day to demolish something that Isabelle ruined for me by being picky with placement.

The game DOES get boring after a while playing by real time. Unless you have a bunch of friends to keep you busy.
I'd say TT for golden equipment is fair, but duplicating is REAL cheating.

TT'ers (not all, just a few really) seem to be making a bigger deal out of it than non-TT'ers. People are going to have their opinions, you can't let that bother you. Unless it's full on hate speech. Maybe it's different on other forums, but I haven't seen much aggression here.

Okay guys. I'm done with these threads.

Anyone can play how they want. There isn't a thing wrong with wanting to time travel. If someone wants to speed up their game, which they have every right to, they can. Not everyone wants to wait day by day to play their game. The fighting that always follows these threads are what makes them bad.

So here is a warning, to everyone. If you're going to make a thread about how you think time traveling is bad, just stop. All it's going to do is start a fight, and will be locked.

Deja vu, folks.
