What is it about a villager that makes you want/not want them?

It’s the way they look for the most part. It also can be when they’re too hard to kick out. But yeah I don’t like a villager if they’re ugly to me. Sometimes the ugliness be part of their quirk but sometimes it’s just....no.

Sometimes appearance plays a role, but their personality does too. I almost let Del move out, because a lot of my other villagers don't get along with him. But I decided not to let him move away because I still want him in my town

Looks & personality. But as I’ve discovered, it could change once you get to know the villager. I didn’t like Sylvia the uchi kangaroo at first. But she always gave me medicine when I needed it and she got along with my other villagers. She asked to leave today and I said yes cos I’d like to see what it’s like to have other villagers in town but she’ll definitely be missed!

I have Del and I find him super cool! Plus, I’m trying to get him to give me his typewriter...he refused last time when I visited but I’m not gonna give up!

Hm usually the way they look is why I want them and then I see if I like them personality wise or not. I know there's a set of personalities, but two villagers of the same personality can seem really unique to each other sometimes you know? Like Marina and Merengue are both normal, but Marina always seems more shy and soft spoken while Merengue seems more peppy.
