What is a good daily villager gift that isn't clothes/does not mess with house interior?

Looking to find the easiest thing to gift my villagers every day that isn't clothes and doesn't mess with their house's interior. Maybe it's a DIY that uses the least amount of materials. I suppose it's okay if it is wall-mounted. What do you guys gift your villagers?

Non-native fruit is the best good gift that doesn't take much materials out of you. You just need to plan for fruit growth.

like already suggested, i’ve been giving my villagers non-foreign fruit that i’ve wrapped and it does wonders aha

Like what other people said non-native fruit wrapped in paper, but be ready to accept a lot of bells from them. It got me nowhere when trying to get their pics. Also, for the hair/eye accessories, they will display those because I gave goldie a hairpin and she decided it would be a great idea to get rid of her table and display that one hairpiece.

I tried the non-native fruit approach, and within a few weeks, I have already gotten two photos. I also did gift wrap them as well to get that added bonus. I've never tried the wall furniture approach, since I don't have the capacity to craft 10 items a day, I'm too impatient for that. I definitely recommend the fruit approach, I'm not sure if it will yield you a photo as quick compared to the wall furniture trick, but I can testify that it worked for me.

I give wrapped non native fruit usually like most people above.

Agree with everyone. Non native fruits are the best options. However, they tend to give bells than items when giving fruits. And it takes longer time to increase friendship level to get their pictures.

i like gifting my villagers fruit every day along with sending them a letter attached with fruit. we r living in a fruit-only diet society.

iron wall lamps or hanging terrariums- they're furniture items that are worth a lot if you sell them, so they give you the max friendship points (5 i think?? 6 when wrapped). also, unlike if you gift them fruit, if you gift villagers furniture, they're guaranteed to give you an item in return (instead of bells), and that item has a chance of being a villager picture! if you give them fruit, then maybe half the time they give you bells instead of an item, which cuts your chances of getting a picture from them even more

@ the ppl who have been saying hanging lamps or terrariums, do the villagers actually put up the items?? i imagine since ur recommending them they dont, but confirmation would be nice for my worrying brain ;-;

Villagers can't currently put up any items on their walls if they don't have a free spot on their walls (and I think those free wall spots are for clothes and maybe K.K. Albums?). There's a thread here that details everything to do with Villager homes. I believe I've read somewhere that furniture specifically is not carried to a new home if you adopt them out to somebody else (though clothing definitely is).

As said above, wrapped fruit. Keeps them original but gives you lots of points! And you get more bells for the fruit than you would have for selling it at Nook's.

I've found since I've been wrapping fruit I've got a lot more villager photos!
