What is a good daily villager gift that isn't clothes/does not mess with house interior?

@ the ppl who have been saying hanging lamps or terrariums, do the villagers actually put up the items?? i imagine since ur recommending them they dont, but confirmation would be nice for my worrying brain ;-;

They don’t! Though I’ve heard if the villager already has wall furniture, after the 25th lamp they have a chance to replace the wall items. Not sure how true that is, but usually you do have a high chance to get their photo before the 25th lamp.

Pretty sure no one has mentioned this, but door plates. unless you want to keep the exterior of the housing in it''s original state.

I prefer wrapped hanging terrariums as they are wall-mounted (villagers won't display them) and 'expensive' since they're handmade.
