What inspired your Animal Crossing town name?

I've got a lot of respect for people who put in a lot of effort when it comes to landscaping, and I wanted to try it for myself, so Greens it is. All of the residents' names are based on green things like Soy, Fern, and (Granny) Smith.

Well, I used the default AC title to name my first town because at that time I felt like wanting to restart and have a new beginning, in-game and my real life so I thought the default title would fit my town name (lol I know it's a lame excuse to not think of any name).

The name I've given to my second town came from a combination of two words shortened to fit the 8-character limit. The first word means like one way of how my girlfriend and I show affection to each other and the second word came from a sound that our pet dog (or dog in general) makes.

I knew I would have an obsession with all the food items released DLC from Asia and I liked the zen theme town hall/station best. So, I decided I'd just theme it. I liked Tadaima for it's meaning of coming home so that's what I chose.

"Sylva" meaning wood/forest, and "lum", meaning light, to form Sylvalum. Which incidentally, is also the name of an area in a game I really like:

I get to pretend that's my town's theme now.

It's been a tradition to name my town 'Forks' since I was seven years old. The reason why I named it Forks in the first place is because I didn't want people to know I was living in Seattle at the time. I guess in my little brain, Forks was a nice name for a town that's still in Washington state.
And yes, this was before the Twilight movies.
