What do you think I should do with my hair?

Hey guys! So, as I was scheduling my next hair appointment, I decided to also schedule to get my hair dyed. As of right now, I'm leaning more towards dying my hair a darker color (most likely dark blue, purple, or even black). My family and friends have agreed with me but I decided I wanted to get some opinions from some people who don't personally know me as well. I've never dyed my hair before, so I only have pictures of my natural hair color. I apologize in advance for how big the pictures are D:

So, what are you opinions on what color I should dye my hair? Should I go darker or lighter? I would also appreciate you opinions on what specific colors you think would look good ^-^ Also, what should I do for a hairstyle? Shorter, longer, bangs, no bangs, etc.?

i also think plum would look good -

you can also never go wrong with natural colors like chestnut (＾▽＾)

You should get purple/silver I think it'd look really cool and silver is really in right meow.
So like similar to the first picture above wassop posted, but with silver too. You'd look like a unicorn. <3

I think you should go with a light blue, but you could probably pull off any color except blonde.

I'm actually really glad that everyone thinks I should get rid of my side bangs. I've been thinking about doing that for a while now, but I wasn't sure if it would look good or not aha

Ahh thank you! That was another thing I was considering, but a bunch of people told me not to so it kind of deterred me from the whole thought of it

And I agree about the side bangs thing. I'm trying to get rid of mine cause they were cool back in the day, but as you get older, they don't look as good. Might as well do away with them when you can

I've always been a fan of that style too, I just don't really like when it's jet black and then bleached blonde underneath. As for the bangs, mine are quite outdated. I've had them since 6th grade and I just graduated high school, it's time for them to go lol.

You should def. do like an ombr? thing. It looks good on like everyone and it's not such a drastic change as dyeing your whole head a different color. I know a girl who has navy blue ombr? to her hair and it looks great. Granted her hair is darker than yours so it wouldn't look exactly like how I'm thinking but ombr? would look good on you! What actually would look really good is if you did a lighter color, like lavender. But if you're set on going darker that would work too, just maybe have it more on your under layers . And I agree about the side bangs, unfortunately the best way to fix that is letting them grow out.. But you could always get them blended with the rest of your hair and that would help! whatever you end up getting done, post pics when you get it!

I'd say don't dye it all. But if you do, go with something lighter.
