What do you call your "significant other"?

Aw... My pet names are so average compared to everyone else's, lol. I feel like I'm lacking in the colorful pet name department.
I usually just call him Ty, ugly (in a loving way, lol), little one, little zebra. I have one other but is a bit...inappropriate to share especially how/when it's used in context. His pet names are funnier for me: T-rex (my arms are short), Chernobyl, Glow Stick, ugly, f*****, Kel, little bunny.

If I'm talking about him to someone else I'll say "my boyfriend" or his name if it's someone who knows him. In writing I'll sometimes refer to him as "my lover".

I don't have any cute name that I address him by though, and usually I never call him by name either. We live together and we're always alone, just the two of us, so whenever I speak, he knows that he is the one whom I'm talking to and I don't say his name or any nickname at all. So even after 3 and a half years I've never gotten used to calling him by his name. When we are around more people, and I do have to call him by name so that he knows he is the person I'm addressing, it feels very strange. And then I think about how I'm uncomfortable saying the name of the one person I'm closest too, and I feel even more strange. I'll even go out of my way to avoid it, by doing things like nudging him and saying "hey" or "listen!" to get his attention because I just don't have any word I'm used to addressing him by.
