What Did You Accomplish On Your Island Today?

This morning on Crescent :

Have been placing more path patterns. I think I just need to place them at heart lake and going to Serena’s house.

I finally have enough pink roses. So placed them where they belong then planted more trees and finished the path in the butterfly garden.

Then planted cedar trees in the shop area.

I finally finished my magical forest area and I'm really happy with how it turned out!

Also created a little plaza with a town tree because I missed it from New Leaf. Still need to decorate around it though.

I went back onto my island and made the most progress that I have in… I can’t say how many years.
I’ve been playing NH a bit the past year. It just for HHP.

A friend reset his island and while he got stuff from me I went around and did fossils, went through all of my mail. Picked up weeds, and after he left did a bit of redecorating/sorting through the presents from the mail. It felt good!

Today on Crescent :

Went through the mail for both Aurora and Serena
Worked on decorating the museum and adding paths . Since I forgot to add paths the other day.
Enjoyed the stamp rally.
Donated art and fish to the museum.
Found and returned Roald’s lost journal. He gave me a flashy hairpin as thanks .
Got the last stamp for the shop to it nook mile achievement.
Added more decorations to my pirate area.
Rearranged my blue windflowers to try and grow some more purple ones.
Picked up and dropped off a few items on my main island.
Ordered a few more items for my island hopefully they work like I hope.

Sahara finally had a rug I'd been wanting for the past few years, so I bought a couple to be on the safe side... only to find that it's smaller than I remembered, to the point of being useless for what I wanted it for.

Apart from that, I finished an apiary I started making (it's pretty small, but oh well), put some flowers in a display area I started making a while ago (I'm planning to put the nuptial bell there, once I get it), and put down some blank tiles in my forest area, to try to get the last three rocks I need to spawn in my rock garden. I also starting setting up the outside of Zucker's home, for when I'm ready to move him out for Rio.

Small steps, but I'm getting closer to finishing my island!

i recently started an island on my second switch its been really fun getting back into the simple swing of things without the pressure of an existing island. i am letting AND forcing myself to take things slow, which is really making everything feel more like a gradual journey.

after a few days of resetting for a veryyy specific map for the purposes of making a steven universe themed map (recently also been revisiting old media i never finished), i ended up with a yellow airport, the perfect rock formation layout, and double south rivers, which i have always wanted to try. cobb (ringer for peridot!!) and hazel (precious. great temp resident) were the starters. and i picked up deli (was thinking a greg placement but will probably change out for rex) and melba (nanefua energy!).

so, today on beach city, i gathered more fish into the hoard to sell later, got some pumpkins planted, and did 10 more NMT jaunts to try and find pango or tangy. and lo ! behold ! after 156 NMT, i FINALLY FINALLY found pango !! thank dogggg. probably the worst possible luck ever, given that the hunt was peppy locked (still never saw tangy or several other peppy gals, jeeze!) but pango is home and now, we sleep!

I am switching focus on my second island since I am almost done decorating. So focused on diving yesterday.
Caught 10 new sea creatures for the museum. 3 new bugs and two new fish.
Went on a boat ride with Kapp’n to a fall island . Found some maple leaves and acorns.
Went to a mystery island and gathered some materials. I need to stock up on materials since have been using them for crafts.
Nook mile achievements for Crescent :

Second stamp for deep dive
First stamp for set sail for adventure: I really should go on a boat ride with Kapp’n more often.
Third stamp for underwater understudy
Third stamp for nook miles for miles.

Started my 3rd Island on my Switch 1 after transferring my main Island to the Switch 2. Went with May 1st as the start date.
Willow moves to Moonlight and got the map on the 2nd reset.
Day 2 got an Apple in the mail from Mom and found Gulliver. Took awhile getting use to fishing in the game. Main Island dropped off 2 Pipes, mirror, fruit and Garbage can. Pipes are making it easier to get around.
Day 3 placed a house, went to the island and found Zoe. Happy it's someone new. Enjoying play the game now it's complete.

I have a new island on the Switch 2 called Melbourne (since Melba is my favorite villager). I got the campsite built and Olaf is the first villager to move in. I love the anteaters but he's my least favorite. Still, not horrible.

I also bought a painting from Redd, and stopped by Paradise Planning. I think I'll do more of that later. I like the DLC and also want to unlock everything.

Today I've made the difficult decision to finally let one of my villagers (Snooty) move out. Gave her a zen light as a parting gift.

Chief is leaving my island so I said my goodbyes and set off to hunt for a new villager to take his place. Since it’s April in my game, I also spent some time searching for eggs and recipes to get ready for Bunny Day.

Fun fact, villager posters only show up in Harvey's stuff if you actually order them.

I've been ordering 5 per day and am finally at 140 left.
