What Did You Accomplish On Your Island Today?

Planted and rearranged some of the bushes on my island, planted some flowers to make more hybrids with, and am now trying to figure out what to do with a specific space I've neglected for a while.

I think I actually gasped when I saw 9k replies… yesterday, (I haven’t played today yet) I caught a coelacanth and a tuna, both fish that I’ve been looking for for a long time! I just spent the rest of the day searching for the barrel eye which I didn’t find. I kinda gave up at four stars for island eval, but I’ll focus on that, when I finish catching all the April creatures.

Realized you have to buy the individual posters to use them in Harvey's, so they technically all need to be ordered to be "cataloged" so guess what I'm doing.

I've been playing again the last couple weeks, and I have a lot of plans for what to do with my island. Today I mostly focused on putting together a little pool deck area, and I also worked on the area in front of Resident Services a little bit.

Today I logged on and to my absolute dismay I found that Croque had moved into one of my open plots :( I also finished placing down all the other plots so now I have all 10. I got Antonio to move into one of them. I spent a lot of time just going around and collecting a bunch of the Easter eggs thingies, and racked up a big supply. Overall, pretty productive day.

Today I worked on my star gazing area a bit, added some benches to go with the tables I have in front of my Resident Services, and moved Julian's home. I still have more islander houses I need to move around. Once that agonizingly slow process is done, I'll finally be able to work on that area of my island more~

Yesterday was the first day of my new island Gravity! I did a lot.

- Choosing my island was painful. Several days to find the perfect island, several theme changes, name changes etc. 216 tries to finally get what I needed: round (small or big) peninsula, a colourful airport (everything but orange), well placed resident service and a villager I wanted (Tammy but I’m not already sure she’ll be on my island forever). I had the pleasure to discover windflowers and peaches. Favourite fruit, favourite flower.
- To reach 5000 miles as soon as possible, I wrote on the bulletin board, changed my profile, modified a pattern, shook the trees to get a piece of furniture, caught ten different fish (three achievements for just this one!) and bugs, put 10 furniture outside, 5 inside, sold fruits and weeds … in one hour, this was done.
- I farmed the Miles to reach more than 10000 the first day. I could then extend my inventory, buy a swimsuit, craft better tools.
- Caught a lot of fish and bugs. 92 fish and 73 bugs precisely. Without missing one for the fish. Bugs it’s something else.
- Get stung by a tarentula. I caught one, the other jumped on me. Yes, two in the same place. Did a screenshot because it’s a bit unique.
- Talked with Tammy and Hamlet, my two villagers, maybe 15 times each in addition to the introduction dialogues.
- Looked for the seashells. I had the challenge two times to sell ten and on the first part of the island we don’t get a lot.
- Sold more fruits and weeds.
- I placed the different buildings and houses (now tents) on the beach. No need to move them later when I will unlock terraform.
- Chop all the tress of the first part of my island, hit the rocks.

Not specifically my island, but I've had some time to finally go through dream addresses I've had noted down, and put my favourites in a lil dream address book.
Been a lot of fun~☆

I only played for a bit this afternoon to relax.

I did the following on Cosa Bella Island:
  • Checked my mail ( it was starting to build up :p its been a while since I checked the mail)
  • Cleaned the beaches and sold the shells in the little drop off box at nooks cranny
  • Walked around my island and ran into Kiki and had a chat
  • Checked out the shops I always check what fashion is available that day
  • Pulled a few weeds I found hiding behind my house
  • Went fishing just to relax and sold them for bells
  • Visited my bestie Ed
  • Cleaned up the items I had laying around in my house

I accomplished more today than I have in several weeks. I was getting in the habit of just checking in and not really doing anything to improve my island. I got brave and asked Isabelle my island rating. She came back and said ohhhh you’ve lost your 5 star rating and have dropped to a 4. I had a suspicion that was the case since I hadn’t seen any new LOV in awhile.

I was getting really sloppy and pretty lazy, lol. Sooo, I went around and picked up all of the weeds. I picked up a ton of items I had just dropped around my island. I also put into storage some items on the island and put out others to freshen things up a bit. Something I needed to do for a long time was to get a set of stairs up to one of the higher levels instead of taking a wall vine every time lol! It will be both exciting to see the result and to use them!

I had/have an unbelievable amount of flowers all around the island, and while I know that doesn’t really impact the island star rating, it was looking terribly out of control. It is always such a pain to dig flowers because you fill you pocke/backpack (whatever it’s called) so quickly and then have to travel back to the store to unload/sell. And I’m just realizing as i write this that I don’t know why I don’t take one of my Mario pipeline and just fast travel back and forth. I will have to try that next time.
I talked with Isabelle and my island is back to a 5 star! Woohoo!

Oh, and I also talked to as many villagers as I could and Helped out poor ole Gullivar! Does anyone else prefer to find his communicator because it is a one and done vs Gulliver where you have to find the 5 pieces in the sand? I always give an audible ugh when I have to run around and dig up those pieces!
