None of the popular ones are scary. You have to dig deep to find the creepy ones. I've found some really creepy ones with great writing, but most of the popular ones aren't at all creepy, just boring and badly written.

SCP is awesome.
It actually gives me a story.
All of those are badly written and just.. ugh.
Seriously, Outlast had a better storyline than those.
And outlast was just a dude in a mental hospital killing some ghost's life support and putting videos of insane people's butts on YouTube

I like creepy pastas. It's like people of the internet gathering around a campfire telling ghost stories, rather than a campfire it's the glow of a computer screen. They rely on the truly strange to incite fear, I like that.

Why'd you make a poll for this? Theres hundreds probably thousands of creepypastas. I chose Jeff the Killer because of the pic. But the scariest for me is Username666, Annora Petrova, and 1 other I forgot the name to.

Jeff the Killer and Ben Drowned were close, but I have more scary memories with Ben since it was the first Creepypasta I read. I saw YuriofWind's Sonic.exe video, and it didn't seem bad at all. I don't know what The Rake is.
