To those who have played with or collected Legos, which ones do you like more?

Classic Legos are the typical playsets that you see from Lego. Most themes, including licensed themes like Star Wars, Mario, and Animal Crossing, are classic legos. The focus is on creativity and modeling, as they involve bricks like the 2x1 brick and 4x2 brick.

Technic Legos, on the other hand, are based on logic, mathematics, and engineering. Those are the ones that involves pins, axles, connectors, and liftarms. Some playsets have Technic pieces, but Technic Legos are primarily made of Technic pieces. Very few themes are strictly Technic-based (most notable ones are Bionicle and Mindstorms).

Voted for classic, but to be honest it only wins by a small margin. I love all lego, but since classic was literally my childhood the nostalgia played heavily into my choice.

I like how broad the horizon is with classic lego without having to put too much thought into it. Like I could just take out a box of 2x4s and go wild arranging them and building anything I can with minimal effort

However, I love technic lego sets. They're a cool challenge to put together (even with the instructions lol), but they're so worth it when you finish them. I wouldn't sit down and play with them to relax because I'd either get too invested or too frustrated, but they're still really fun

My favourite lego sets though would have to be the flower ones, where you make the plants/flower arrangements. They always look so pretty when they're completed

Classic with some sets using Technic pieces like the Botanical series. I am interested in the new Technic Back to the Future Delorean because it is within my price range and small enough for me to display. I am mainly a LEGO Harry Potter collector with a few of the plants and flower builds and earlier Super Mario interactive sets in my collection. I also have a few Lego City vehicle builds.

I guess the regular/classic ones. I didn't know there was anything else. I never really had legos growing up, but that was mostly since my parents bought the bare minimum of everything. My sister gifted me a lego set a few Christmases ago. She probably didn't know what to get me or thought it was cute. It was! That was the last time I played with them.
