I prefer purple or green, sometimes red. I mainly avoid really bright colors, yellow, orange, and pink because I don't think they look good on me. I avoid white some because I spill things.

I wear quite a bit of blue. I like stripes with white. But I also have brow&teal, red&black and some pretty colorful shirts (dunno what you call them, you know, those patterned ones with buttons). I prefer dark blue jeans with no marks.

I have some shirt&"topping" combinations that I use really often/most of the time becaue I really like them.
