I was wondering about that.

I guess it depends a lot on town layouts?
What areas of your town get the most villager traffic and why?

For example I have a U shaped river with my town plaza in the middle, and all 3 bridges lead from each sides of the U directly to the plaza. The plaza is BY FAR the place that has the most traffic in my town.
It's usual for me to run past and see 4 to 6 villagers waddling around the town tree.
I love it!

I also have a yellow bench surrounded by lemon trees at the botttom of my town that gets a lot of traffic.
Mainly because it's near my home and most of my villagers homes are in the same area.

I'm so glad I put most my villager's homes very close to mine.
When I start the game and open my door I usually see Olivia, Chief or Zell (sometimes all three hahaha) pass in front of my home.
They are all litterally 3 steps away from my house.

my original first cobblestone bridge. its right in the middle of my town so I think thats why

Where the bridges are, and in the bamboo forest I made for them. c: I also made a flower park, but less so.

Cool! I hardly ever see any of mine in the bamboo forest apart from Pango... Because she lives there...
all alone... CAN'T SHE JUST MOVE ALREADY.
I think my forest is too dense, even I get stuck in it sometimes, hahaha, oops.

I'd say that it varies depending on the time of day. My villagers tend to hang out right next to my house where there's a field of flowers and a playground - if not there then the plaza. Margie's always in the perfect-apple-tree forest by her house (she falls asleep on the tree stubs, which is super cute) :)

I have a U-shaped river, that kinda looks like an open box. In the bottom right corner, I have a bridge and a bunch of villager houses. Whenever I go down there, I always see my villagers. c:

The most traffic in my town occurs at the train station, the main center bridge, in front of my house and the area south of Re-tail. It never fails. There is always at least 3 villagers in either one of these areas, lol.

I would say for myself the town hall villagers just all crowd over there

In Celadon, the area above my bridge and near my plaza gets lots of traffic. Queenie and Puddles live below the bridge, and Hazel, Boomer, and Lobo live above the plaza. The rest of my villagers show up a lot over there to, though.

In Chrome, the area next to the homes of Frita, Becky, and Anicotti and above the bridge gets the most. Ricky lives right below the bridge as well, and Rudy, Beardo, and Kiki live near him. Stitches even shows up there, and his house is far away from everyone.

My town has a "central plaza" in the southern central part where there is a 3 way intersection, villagers like to walk to that area and gather there

"Main street", which basically leads from the train station to the plaza! Well, it's not straight but it is sometimes bumbling near the station part!

all my villagers live in the bottom right corner of my town, so they're always walking around there

the ones that live closer to the top will sometimes go near the train station, but other than that they stay pretty much in the same place. i don't think i've ever seen them go to the plaza by themselves
