I’m curious to know because it seems scorpion hunting is over since the update nerfed the spawn rate. :)

Use NMT and farm them.. I did tonight and landed on small bamboo Island. 20 minutes to clear the Island and about another 40 to fill pockets with Scorpions..

Other than farming Scorpions, I catch fish and other bugs throughout the day. I also craft whatever the special items are at Nooks. Depending on what they are, I might make 20 or 30 of the item then sell....

Cycling villagers since I get what I want with it. (Very non-organic but, hey. Gotta do what it takes to get by?)

turnips honestly. someone adopted my villager early on and they paid 1m bells, and i used that for my turnip investment. instead of using nmt's to farm bugs (they're tedious as hell) i'd rather give it as entrance fee for high turnip prices.

Definitely turnips. Turnips are by far the best way of making money per time investment. Combine that with cycling/selling desired villagers while looking for your own dreamies.

Saving expensive bugs and fish for CJ and Flick, turnips and crafting iron frame for quick profit since it’s sells for 15k.

Turnips, save expensive bugs and fish for Flick and CJ, check the hot item at Nook's (often ignored, but some items can net you a million bells with a half hour of crafting).

honestly, it’s still bug catching - wasps, valuable butterflies, etc

Flick takes a while to come to my island but I seems to be able to farm roomful of inssects worth 2k and above. Now that I mastered wasp catching, I could get 5 wasps each day so far. Other than that, money tree, money rock and stalk market. Also, still sticking to 10k expenses per day until I pay off my final loan.

trading online. not a fan of turnips at all and everything else is just not my thing.

- Selling fish and bugs to CJ and Flick when they visit
- when I'm in the mood I'll go and farm Tarantulas (well, Scorpions now but I'm yet to do it as it takes soooo long)
- Money rock
- Selling spare appraised fossils
- just generally catching bugs and fish and selling to Timmy and Tommy

Turnip Stonk exchange is where my large income's coming from since a lot of players like to post their turnip prices (daisy mae and nooks) online. Even if it's just a couple of hundred above the selling price, the payout would already significantly help you.

Some players also like to time travel a lot to get a better daisy mae/nook price, and that happens throughout the week. :) Not gonna hurt to ride on their TT perks lol Just don't go for those who are asking for some insane entry fees -_- not worth the wait/expense.

I also keep track of the mid/high-paying Fish/Bugs and reserve those for CJ and Flick. :) Red Snapper, Peacock butterfly, etc. Doesn't have to always be tarantulas, cos that's too hard to farm :(

wait you need to elaborate omg.
catching bugs / fishes / selling items on your island is not your thing?
hdjskjdkljf.
no, oh god that's not what i meant, sorry! i'm just not a fan of buying/selling turnips bc i don't have the patience for it. i do sell my fish/insects/etc. to the nooklings, but i personally don't care for a visit of flick or going tarantula/scorpion hunting.

once i reach a goal & finish paying my full loan i will probably be over the turnip game. visiting each day morning & night then not having a good price and searching for someone online and schedule that said transaction is not really all that easy. but yeah, i'd rather do that than arantula/scorpion farming. did that 2-3x and i'm already over it.
