One of my favorite things to do is to watch movies. I’m not too picky and I’m always looking for some movie recommendations.

Some of my favorites are…
Coraline
Sprited Away
Catwomen 2004
Scooby-Doo + Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed
Scooby-Doo: Cyber Chase
Alvin and the Chipmunks + sequels
The Cat in the Hat (2002)
House of Wax
The Rage: Carrie 2 (1999)
Pitch Perfect
Guardians of the Galaxy

What are your favorite movies?

I love movies and watch a lot, so long list incoming.

Coraline
Matilda
Dawn of the Dead (2004).
A Silent Voice
The Good The Bad and the Ugly
The Lady and the Tramp
Mulan
Training Day
Pulp Fiction
Reservoir Dogs
The Hateful Eight
Seven
The Hunger Games 2012. Unfortunately, none of the sequels did much for me.
Little Shop of Horrors
Leon The Professional
Escape from Alcatraz
The Shawshank Redemption
The Pianist
Death Proof
Rocky
Cool Hand Luke
Finding Nemo
Gladiator

I could keep going but we would be here forever.

If I had to narrow down movies that feel favorite and special to me:

Finding Nemo, Caroline, Matilda, and Little Shop of Horrors.

I'm not the biggest movie watcher to be honest. A few of my favourite movies are
  • Pride and Prejudice (1940)
  • Rise of the Guardians
  • The Hunger Games trilogy, though the first one is my favourite of them
  • A Silent Voice
  • Basically all the Scooby Doo movies there are lol
  • Finding Nemo
  • Tangled
  • Bug's Life
  • Schindler's List

Off the top of my head, in no particular order, my favourite movies are:
  • Lilo & Stitch
  • Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch
  • Barbie (my current #1 favourite movie! Barbie will forever be so special to me, I don't think I'll ever get tired of it 🩷)
  • Tangled
  • Frozen
  • The Little Mermaid trilogy (the OG movie is my favourite and the most special to me, but Ariel's Beginning has a special place in my heart as well!)
  • Clueless
  • Mean Girls
  • The Hunger Games trilogy (Catching Fire and Mockingjay Part 1 are my favourites!)
  • Cinderella III: A Twist in Time (one of the rare instances where I like a sequel more than the OG movie! Cinderella and Anastasia's dynamic is so interesting to me, and I love Anastasia's character development!)
  • Coraline
  • Liar Liar
  • Inside Out
  • The Nightmare Before Christmas
  • When Harry Met Sally...
  • The Santa Clause trilogy (the second movie is my favourite!)
  • The old animated Barbie movies!! I love all of them, but Barbie: Fairytopia, Barbie Fairytopia: Magic of the Rainbow, and Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses are my absolute favourites! 🩷

I didn't realize how many animated movies I love until now LOL. I don't watch movies very often because I'm picky about what movies interest me and my attention span isn't the greatest, but I could watch these movies a million times and never get sick of them! They're all so special and comforting to me in their own ways. 🥰

The Adventures of Robin Hood(1938)
Citizen Kane
Excalibur
Amadeus
The Searchers
All That Jazz
My Fair Lady

Stalag 17
The Caine Mutiny
Gigi
The Candidate
Apocalypse Now
The Godfather I & II
Total Recall(1990)
The Last Starfighter
The Incredibles
The Warriors
Road House
Real Genius
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy

Crossing Delancey
The Commitments
The Beastmaster
Amélie
You've Got Mail
Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World
That Thing You Do!
Slap Shot

Goodfellas

That's a lot of movies but I do love all of them.

Just about all the Ghibli movies I like, my favs are When Marnie Was There, Princess Mononoke, The Tale of Princess Kaguya, and Kiki's Delivery Service. For live action movies, probably Interview with the Vampire!

Really great picks also! The Mook Animation Scooby-Doos are awesome.

• The Godfather
• The Godfather part ll
• The Deer Hunter
• Taxi Driver
• Dog Day Afternoon

i attempted to narrow it down to 5 movies only...

Outside of a never-ending list of anime movies that I'm not going to bother typing out, I really loved the Guardians of the Galaxy movies as well as The Lord of the Rings movies. Actually, funnily enough I haven't seen the second one for either trilogy, so maybe I'll go back and watch them at some point. 💀

My favourite film continues to be Up! 🏠🎈

I don't watch very many films, but there are a few that stick out to me as being notable or nostalgic. I love Pixar animations, so other than Up, I'd say Inside Out, Ratatouille, Onward, and Turning Red are all films I really enjoyed! Outside of animated films, The Lord of the Rings trilogy of films are notable to me because they're adaptations of one of my favourite books, and then Dirty Dancing is nostalgic for me, since while it was released before I was born, I saw it a lot as a kid/young adult and enjoyed it.

I don't know. There's a lot, but also there were some movies and shows I loved as a kid and even like 10 years ago, but I went back to watch some of them and there's so much I overlooked as a kid that I couldn't even sit down and watch all the way through and if I did my memory/nostalgia of it and what it actually was changed. So sometimes something that was my favorite back then just stays in the past because rewatching it changes my perception of it. Basically it's not as good or really bad, but I guess those feel good memories are more about being a kid ect than it was about the actual movie or show.

There's a lot of movies and shows that are or were my favorite.

Back to the Future, Star Wars, a lot of the Pixar movies, Tangled, Lord of the Rings (although it's a lot to sit through) and so much more.

Better make yourself breakfast, second breakfast, elevenses, luncheon, afternoon tea, dinner, and supper while you're at it!

Moonlight, Ponyo, Portrait of a Lady on Fire, The Handmaiden, and Stand By Me are always the first that come to mind. I really love Wong Kar-wai movies and all the Studio Ghibli movies I've seen. It's hard to pick favorites beyond Ponyo but The Boy and the Heron is probably really high up there, I'm excited to watch it again. I love Jordan Peele's movies too! My favorite of his so far is probably Us. Everything Everywhere All at Once, Arrival, Paddington/Paddington 2, Marcel the Shell with Shoes On, Barbie, Monsters Inc., Turning Red, Romeo + Juliet, High School Musical 2, The Hunger Games movies, Holes, and If Beale Street Could Talk are some others off the top of my head

One movie I will always always recommend is " The Orphanage " (El orfanato)- the 2007 movie. Not the weird 2009 movie.

The Orphanage (2007) is beautifully executed. However if you wish to watch it, I warn you that it is a horror film and has violence/gore and some disturbing scenes. The language is Spanish and you can watch it with English subtitles.
