What are summer (blue) seashells used for?

Yesterday, blue seashells started appearing on my beaches. I'm assuming they are for DIYs? Anyone get any new seasonal DIYs? Maybe from balloons?

Maybe those of you with islands from the Southern Hemisphere would know?

Summer shells are currently exclusive to Northern Hemisphere. Because summer. These shells are used for crafting the summer-exclusive DIYs that are obtainable from popping balloons.
