Hm, I say you can love someone at any age. You mean romantically? This isn't exactly answering the question but I think you shouldn't date until late high school. If you know you're never going to marry someone, why get romantically involved, setting yourself up for heartbreak?

I assume you mean romantic love, not platonic... in either case, though, my answer would be "any age". As for when one is mature enough to love and be involved in a relationship, that's another story... personally, I think that 99% of America's teenagers are too immature to be involved in relationships. Hell, a lot of college students are, too... but at least there's not as much drama as there is in high school.

Yeah, real 'let's marry' love comes around 16, simply because you now know how so many things work. In all honesty, true love would mean you want to be together forever. (marriage, maturity, responsibility, well-being of the other person being top priority)

Anything else is just a crush.

High School is known for it's share of romantic drama, but it's best to learn about relationships and what to do and what not to do at a young age, so when you get very serious about a relationship, it sticks.
