What age do you consider ok to "love" someone?

What do people have against being single? I,m a single female
and I love being single.

but single is lonely and you have no one to cuddle with :brrrr:

That's a stupid excuse. Being single is more peaceful, not mention
safe. What if the person your dating is a wanted criminal? Alot of people
out there are wolves in sheeps' clothing. You just can't trust almost anybody
out there.

Plus, they don't last very long. You suddenly get tired of each other adn before
you know it, you two will be fighting and finally you'll split up. And I have actually
heard stories of boyfriends and girlfriends commiting crimes, causing trouble,
or worse, murdering people or each other.

Plus, when you're single, you don't have to worry about anybody but yourself.

You say some of the most ignorant stuff I've ever heard in my life. Let's go through some of what you've said, shall we?

You say these things like they happen to everybody, which isn't right. Maybe these things can happen to some people, but I assure you, not to everyone.

You're arguements are extremely weak, and I'd wish you would include things like "In my opinion" or "The way I see it" before you go rambling on with things like this.

Actually, my Aunt and Uncle have been together since grade 7, and it's been 19 years for them so far, and my Grandfather and Grandmother had been together since they were 17, and had been married 50 years when my Grandmother passed away, so in my opinion, love can come at any age, but it all depends on the persons maturity and whether they are ready.

i agree i haven't dated seance i was in the 8th grade i realized its better to just have fun with some one you like because if you go out with them its just all drama and its not like you will get married any way

And Megamannt, it isn't "important for a relationship" to have sex before you get married. Back in the day, (I sure sound old for a fifteen-year old.) it was considered inacceptable to even sleep with someone you weren't married with, and now people say it's ok to have sex before that.

Well I will take on the biological perspective and say platonic love any age, and romantic only when your body begins producing hormones, which can be different for different people. Some might say that is just lust I suppose, but really I think romantic love is basically a combination of platonic love and lust.

Honestly trying to generalize everyone is the problem with everything from health care, to everything dealing with people. No 2 people are exactly the same. Even identical twins end up a little different, yet people try to generalize everything for everyone and it just doesn't work. The food pyramid, a guide for diet, but it isn't right for everyone on the dot.

Anyway love is a hard thing to figure out because it is a feeling, and hard to judge in any physical way. Many great artworks, and music are about falling in love, attempting to show others how they feel, but though parts might be felt once you have felt it, try explaining romantic love to someone too young and they will just be kinda confused... or if in the opposite gender has cuties phase respond with a "eewwwww"

I'd prefer to have sex with someone before committing my life to them, just incase they're some kind of genetic mutation with teeth growing down there
