Yeah, i was kinda left wanting by their designs, to tell you the truth. I dont know why i expected a wider range. It is not like nl had way better ones, but i hoped for more of them here. I like the green&black one you get with nook miles, and the new design with leaf patterns is nice too.
i'd really like a small update to make the wetsuits into actual clothing items instead of some hybrid clothing/tool. they can't be registered as wand outfits right now since they technically go on top of whatever outfit/clothes you're currently wearing :/
it's a shame bc once you take them off, they take up inventory space. i've been having to change back and forth after i finish swimming and just leave my swimming gear at a designated spot on the beach. personally find it a bit hassling lol.

My guess is that since you're able to keep your clothes on underneath the wetsuit, it functions kinda like the wand... maybe that's why it can't be added to the wand itself.

This one is from Nook Stop/Nook Miles Shop, the one at Resident services! You need to scroll down (almost all the way if I remember correctly) and it's 800 NM. It's the same place you buy the fence DIYs at.

My apologies, I actually take that back. I checked Nook's Cranny today and a red wetsuit was available for purchase. In the last two days, they were selling a yellow wetsuit so I was under the impression that the colours won't change at all. The RNG is making me look bad. Once again, my apologies for spreading misinformation. I'll edit my original post to avoid spreading it even further.
No worries! I know before the update, I was worried about it being color locked to your specific island too. I'm glad they didn't do that.
Yeah I thought it was locked too after I got the green leaf wetsuit in the nook app two days in a row. It’s an honest mistake
The only thing that bothered me about the wetsuits is that you have to remove it when going into the fitting room at ables. Like why can't I just go inside with it???? I also did wish there was more variations. I do miss the new leaf ones.
