Weird question - recycling box.

This morning in the daily run around the island I found a Pisces lamp in my recycling bin I didn’t think high end crafted items ended up there.

did someone leave it? I did have a Celeste hosting last night.

I’ve found all kinds of nice things in there. A lot of times, when a villager leaves, they leave one of their nice house items there. Maybe one of your past villagers had the lamp?

Yep that’s most likely the cause. I do remember Elvis has the lamp in his house.

That's most likely what it was then! Villagers almost always (if not always) will leave a piece of furniture they have in their home in the recycling bin when they move out

It could be Elvis. He left a Leo sculpture In the recycle bin when he moved out of our island. He has a lot of zodiac themed items in his house.

I found an Aquarius urn in mine once! Still have no idea where it came from but it was a nice change from all the cardboard boxes!

Funny, I just had this moment...I found a cherry-blossom branches in my bin just now which surprised me. I didn't have anyone move out that had it in their home though and my time is current (northern hem, august) so def not in season either. But good to know, I'll def check it more often now.

I don’t think it was from a party but maybe from a villager you gifted it to I never have had experience with this I actually never knew about this

In my experience, when a villager moves away you will find one furniture item and one piece of clothing in the lost and found box the day they are first gone.

Pekoe has it in her home if you had her at one point. Congrats though, the branches is one of my faves as petals fall off of it if you interact with it.

I never got anything good from it. Not even Marshal gave me anything decent after he left my island.

My villagers only leave stuff that I gave to them, whick is sad! Ankha move out and I thought I was able to get one of her furniture but NOPE, instead is one of her dress that gave to her. Sad

Lionel left his jacuzzi and a power suit (which I gave him). Yuka left her antique dresser and an orange retro dress. My poor starter villagers who have left of course had no fancy furniture to leave, poor babies. Shari left her workbench, which I use now, because she was such a sweetie and I loved her. Kabuki, my most recent move out, left his wooden sign (I forget the actually name) and a kabuki yukata (the one that is his base clothes, but I gave him a couple extra when he was wearing a frilly blouse Shari gave him). I don’t know if I remember them all, but I’ve always gotten both
