It's that time of year that a whole bunch of different wrap-ups are coming out. PlayStation's was released yesterday, which can be found here! Feel free to share your PlayStation wrap-ups in here!

Anyways, here's my wrap-up!

6a - Year Summary (card).png

Compared to my wrap-ups from the last couple of years, I actually played my PS5 more than those two years combined. I'm not entirely surprised, since there were quite a few PS5 games I played through during the first 3 months of the year, though I didn't actually play it for the longest time after March until I finally got around to playing Outer Wilds in August/September. There's still a fair number of PS4/PS5 games on my backlog that I need to get to, so I wouldn't be surprised if I end up reaching a similar hour count come 2026!

No real surprises here. The Stanley Parable would be lower if I didn't need to leave it on for an entire day for one of the trophies, lol. The other games I played that aren't included in here are Sonic Superstars, Astro Bot, and briefly Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 and Astro's Playroom.

I ended up focusing on getting the Platinum Trophy for each game I beat this year, so I'm not entirely surprised to see the trophy counts so high. It's a bit unfortunate it couldn't be 7 platinums due to The Stanley Parable having a trophy requiring you to not play the game for 10 years and me not wanting to cheese it, but it's fine!

PS5 is, as always, my most used console.

Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time was my most played game this year. It's also my personal game of the year and the only one I achieved the platinum on in 2025. This game brought back an actual excitement for gaming that I haven't experienced in years. Any moment I could be playing this I was. I'm really looking forward to the DLC.

It's interesting Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town made it into second place. I was able to play it for free and downloaded it just to scratch the farming game itch. I'd skipped it at launch as I heard terrible reviews, but I'm actually really enjoying this game. It isn't perfection but it is fun. I'm pretty close to the plat but don't think I'll complete it before the end of the year purely due to one trophy being tied into getting the Journey Sprite to level 10.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins was the game I was most excited for launching in 2025 but I haven't played it as much as I thought I would. I'll go back to it though. It has DLC dropping Q1 2026.

AdVenture Capitalist and Clicker Heroes made it into my top 5 again this year. 😂 I've 100%'d the trophies for both of these now so that won't be repeated in 2026.

This just made me laugh. I had no idea they tracked what controller you were using. I alternate between the volcanic red and the one that came with the PS5, but the original barely holds a charge these days.

PS Curse you @~Kilza~ for beating me to this one! 😂
