Weird question about Nook Miles awards?

Say if I got an achievement yesterday, but didnt click on it and redeem nook miles until today, would the date on it show yesterday or today?

I believe it would show the date you earned the achievement, so yesterday.

It'll show yesterday's date since that's when you earned it.

The above is not always true. I can't determine which ones work this way, but I've had it go both ways, actually.

The other weird achievements are those that have fixed spots that ignore dates like the golden tools one.
