I love the models too! Flick and CJ are too rare for my liking haha!

I got Flick yesterday and I decided to make 7 extra profiles and dumped them all on the beach so I could get more than one model. Too slow otherwise!

That's dedication! I don't blame you though. If you don't TT, then it will take literal years to collect all of these models otherwise.

So far I have found the size of the fish models to be disappointing as well.
I have the marlin and coelocanth and sadly both are tiny. I wanted to use them as a centrepiece display outside my museum but they are no where near big enough (the hermit crab is larger than both)

I haven't really put any effort into the insect statues, because I figured they were all just one-size little statues. Seeing how large and detailed some of them are definitely makes me want some for the outside of my museum.

CJ seems to always be on my island. Only seen flick 2 times!

Flick only does the fish models to make CJ happy. His true love is the bugs.

I think the models of the small-sized fish are quite cute but the ones you'd expect to be huge are otherwise disappointing.
I personally can't wait to get all the goldfish models (so far just have the standard one but also want the Ranchu and the pop-eyed).
Both these guys come so rarely though.
I low-key regret selling all my banded dragonflies now. This looks epic but I guess I'll concentrate on the butterfly models for now.

Ground only as far as I have been able to find
The collision box around these models are huge, makes them really difficult to fit places.

I tested placing them on 4 items I would expect them to fit on but had no luck. The smaller models fit as expected though.
