Wanting to Restart

I've invested a lot of time and effort into my town. It still isn't close to a "completed" state, meaning there's still lots for me to do, but I've been craving a new map and new villagers. I also dislike where I put my house. I have some "rare" or "valuable" villagers, but only one or two that I personally really like...


Pros:
- New map (also means new house location)
- New villagers
- Empty museum/catalogues (I love filling up the museum)
- Fresh start


Cons:
- Resetting for a map I like will take time
- I don't TT, so it will also be time consuming to get mayor status, public works, the island, etc
- Lose all my items, bells, and patterns. Having to remake my path pattern is the annoying part.


So, I don't know... should I reset? What would you do if you were in my situation?

For your con of loosing all your stuff you could always let someone hold them.

As for designs, scan them in the QR Scanner.

I would hold all your stuff for you, but I'm resetting myself xD

I never unlocked the QR scanner, unfortunately, so that's not an option for me.
Though, making a new path might be fun...

Well, since you're resetting, why don't you just TT? I think it'd be only fair if you got to keep your designs, since IRL, you move somewhere with your personal belongings, and some money.

So if I were you, just talk to Sable, TT 1 day, talk to Sable, TT 1 day, and do that over and over until the QR scanner shows up.

This HAS to be done. Why lose the items you enjoy displaying? Or the Bells...? IMO, reset ASAP- but don't stop until you find a favorable layout. Good luck!
