Villagers you feel bad for because they're bullied

I learned from this thread that apparently people bully Queenie and that is not cool lol, every single ostrich is adorable to me!! I also feel bad for Diva, her house may have gotten a downgrade in NH imo but nobody cares about that, they bully her because they think she’s ugly and I honestly don’t at all. I get why her design is disliked, the makeup and hair are a little weird for sure, but she randomly moved into my NL town once and grew on me! Personally I think she looks a lot better than Gigi whose colors don’t complement each other as well and end up looking bizarre to me while I love Diva’s color scheme. I also saw a humanization of her once that was gorgeous.

Some of the best crankies imo and if I had space I'd invite them in asap.. Saw Vladimir on a mystery island and was DEVASTATED to have to pass him up

Vladimir is another one I wanted to try on my second island! I think he's pretty cool and unique looking.
 
All of them! I'm a ridiculous softie but I hate hearing about any villager being picked on, it achieves nothing and really goes against the spirit of the game!

Specifically, Quillson and Gaston, because I've had them both and they're sweeties.
 
The monkeys, especially Nana and Deli!
I can level with people being put off by Tammi and Elise's...unique appearances, but Deli and Nana are literally two of the cutest villagers ever! Nana is a literal Ice Climbers reference too, love that for her<3

Honestly? Everyone. I honestly think people who bully virtual animals - mostly due to their appearance - aren't good people. They can talk about wholesomeness and how they want a safe space, acceptance and stuff like that all they want, but they show their true colors when they project their true feelings on virtual beings because they know there's no consequence to being mean like that.

That's it.
 
Flip. My boyfriend hates Flip with a passion due to the fact that Flip won the Fishing tourney back in ACNL so he refused to congratulate him. I found that hilarious, I don't mind Flip at all.
 
Another vote for Quillson. I got him in my campsite the other day and decided to invite him, and it was a quick decision too. He was playing in the plaza with Pierce today and he looked so cute, I knew I made the right decision!

I always feel a bit bad seeing a lot of hate for Limberg. I had him in NL and he was so lovely and a joy to have in my village. I would definitely have him again if I needed a new Cranky villager, and I was island hopping and saw him.
 
CANBERRA. SHE DON'T DESERVE IT. Seriously, I dislike certain villagers just like anyone else. I personally really dislike Quillson, BUT I would never hit a villager. Yeah it's a game but I still just can't bring myself to hurt them just because I personally find them unpleasant???? You don't hit your neighbors because you find them ugly in real life. Do you? I'm just sayin, it can't actually feel good to beat your little virtual animals can it?
 
i agree on quillson and rodney, i have no idea why they get so much hate, they’re cute tbh. not ugly especially compared to other villagers that are much “uglier”. the hate actually made me like them more bc i feel bad for them.

also this might not count bc he’s also popular but it breaks my heart when people take out their hate for raymond’s fans and popularity on raymond himself. i see people posting about wanting to hurt him, comics of bullying him etc and it makes me really sad and confused like... i know he’s fictional but he’s just a little cat... let him live.

i honestly hate any villager getting “bullied”, there’s some designs I don’t like but I don’t actively dislike any of them, i used to dislike some of them like beardo or moose but i had a friend who loves beardo so much and it made me kinda realize he’s cute in a way and just because a villager isn’t my taste they aren’t necessarily bad. now i actually like beardo! his design isn’t my absolute favorite compared to others but I can appreciate it!

Agree. I don't have the heart to hit them with a net or push them around, no matter how much I dislike their design. When they get sad is just... :(
I respect all villagers, because even your least favorites are bound to be someone's favorite and that's the beauty of this game <3
 
I feel bad for Diva and Cashmere.

I also feel a little sorry for the people who feel the need to bully digital animals. I hope that they have something really good come along that helps them feel better.

ahem Pietro ain't bad, one of the "ugly" villagers I like, it's a rainbow clown sheep, I don't even like clowns but pietro is a freaking rainbow sheep and I love it. (loved that guy in new leaf he was funny)

also peggy although she's not really bullied
