Villagers you feel bad for because they're bullied

Every single villagers who get bullied and hate for whatever reasons, including the popular and unpopular one.

Yes, everyone has their own preferences, but you don't need to bully them to prove that you dislike them right? If I really don't like a villager, I will just ignore that villager. Bully an innocent villager is quite an extreme way to vent out your feelings and won't people feel bad for making them cry or sad? I hate seeing villagers have the crying animation, unless it is the tears of happiness.

Honestly, anyone who genuinely, vehemently, hates a villager and bullies them is a disingenuous weirdo. Imagine hating a video game animal that much, it's pathetic. Why, because they're ugly? Who cares. Just take in the villagers you do like and move on.

Sure I dislike all kinds of villagers, I have my own aesthetic preferences like everyone else, but it makes my eyes roll out of my skull when these "uwu animaw cwossing is suwch a sweet and wuvwy game uwu" types are the first ones to spit acid on any villager that isn't conventionally cute or cool. Go ahead and gripe about villagers you don't like but there's a line.

I can level with people being put off by Tammi and Elise's...unique appearances, but Deli and Nana are literally two of the cutest villagers ever! Nana is a literal Ice Climbers reference too, love that for her<3

I feel bad for Barold. In the lazy tier list thread he was so low on so many peoples list and it's just....to me he looks like a sad guy in his 30s that's just trying to get by.

I'm so tempted to post that Alfonso(?)/Canberra comic with them getting ignored/bullied out of an island but I'm too lazy to find them.

Though it might just be me, I find it hard to hate or bully anyone even if i think the character has a trash design.

I won't lie. I despised Rocco when he moved onto my island.

I did as much as I can to get him to move out of my island. Over time, I started to feel bad for my actions. Eventually, Rocco just grew on me and now I'm gifting him stuff every day to max out our friendship.

I think there's beauty in getting random move-ins. While it may not be a villager we desire, eventually we'll may end up liking them for who they are. I like to think of this as a happy accident. And I don't think the hippo designs are horrible at all now that I've gotten used to Rocco.

I think a lot of the people posting videos of themselves hitting an animal with a net or posting long rants about why they hate the animal are doing it for internet funny points. I seriously doubt a lot of people feel that strongly about cute pixel animals.

It does say something about people though when the ongoing "funny meme" is about pointing out how ugly something is and abusing it in front of everyone.​

One of them that most people love but there are a select few who hate is Muffy - I don't understand it! She's such a cool character, a Lolita sheep. My friend has her and he HATES her, so I feel bad for her

acnh is my friend's first ac game, and she had o'hare as her forced camper. i was really happy for her since i personally love o'hare, but she tried to bully him out! it broke my heart ;w;

I want to frame this post, especially the second part of it. The superficial sweetness masking exclusionary tyranny you are referring to was absolutely rampant during New Leaf’s peak and it was so cringey to witness lol.

I know it still exists but I did a mass purge of the tumblr I follow so I am not as aware of it.

I feel bad for any villagers that are bullied. My original post was more about villagers I've noticed being bullied often and for me that was Quilson. But I think it's sad to see violence or extreme hatred towards any villager.

I don't have a problem with Raymond. I do think he's overrated, but I'd still have him move in if I saw him at my campsite. It's when people started fetishizing him in a maid dress that got me rolling my eyes.
