i didn't play for literally for 3 days and Marshal JUST moved out. He isn't my favorite by any means, but I could have sold him for the moneyz and i could steal his sloppy furniture

I've had Bianca,Drake,Merry,Marina and Joey skip town on me.I was able to save Merry from the void and Marina was in boxes so I just moved her to my cycling town until I could put her back into my other regular town.Even though it sucks to lose a villager,it's always nice to get somebody new in town.After Joey left I was able to bring back Biskit who was one of the starting villagers in my first New Leaf town.I've always regretted letting that lazy dog move out.

Freya left my town by accident, I was trying to time travel out a villager, but I mislooked in an area where Freya was and she was the one that ended up moving xD oops

GameCube was notorious for that, because they gave you no prior warning. At least Wild World put them in boxes, and you could talk them out of it. From City Folk on, they gave you multiple days notice, provided you talk to them often enough. Because of the original though, I lost my favorite villager, and nearly gave up on the series, but luckily Wild World debuted not long after, so I gave the series another chance, and now I have yet to miss a day playing some Animal Crossing game the last 11 years- handhelds are just so insanely convenient!
