Villagers seemingly vanish for days?

Shep! Most days I just CAN'T find him.
Despite the fact that he lives near my house...
I bet he's always hiding somewhere to get high, that pothead.

Teeheehee...that's so true, he is a pothead. He's probably out surfing.
Although he used to live in front of my house and he'd never leave me alone!

This used to happen to me more when I first started playing. Then I started resetting a lot and going in and out of the game a lot. If you don't find them, quit and then reload. They change it up.

Ugh, that's how Rosie is in my town! She's NEVER at home. NEVER wandering around outside. Rarely ever see her in shops... I wish she would be around more often, she's so cute!

Static seems to be my frequently MIA villager. I definitely plan to keep him, so once I've talked to everyone else and completed their tasks, I'll just save, quit, and reload until he's home or I find him. This resets the positions of all villagers, so I always locate him after a few tries. ^_^

I always have trouble finding Ribbot and Merengue, but quitting and reloading the games seems to throw them into a place where I can eventually find them. Doesn't help that when I try to call them with the Megaphone Octavian is the one to respond... close enough.

Also, from what I know if you have someone that's presently moving, they will always be outside where they can ping you about it. I've never had a situation where I've been told there's a mover and they're not outdoors.

This happens to the Static in my town! Whenever I start up my game, he's usually never at his house or he'll be out shopping on Main Street.

Sylvia used to be really shady like that before she moved. I only ever saw her at night, usually hidden in some remote corner somewhere or behind buildings. ._. The only times I ever talked to her was to make deliveries to the other villagers. When I see her wandering around the Main Street she's always talking about her 'turf' (which is an Uchi thing, I know, but it was almost too fitting for her suspicious behavior ).

That kangaroo was up to something, I swear it.

This happens to me too! At first I could NEVER find Mitizi! I was worried that she would move away because I never could find her and talk to her! Come spring she has always been outside and I can find her now!

I've tried that. Usually I start my games off at about 10am the if I cant find them TT to 2, 5, 8.. once in a while.. rarely, will they actually be somewhere I can find them.



I second the cellphone idea, that would be fantastic

Diana disappears for hours on end during the day, I usually find her lurking around her home at night.
