Villagers not moving?

hey tbt! i have my own cycling town, and i've been trying to move Chief into boxes for my new town. the problem is that he just won't move for some reason D: are certain villagers just "anchored" into towns and will not move no matter what? or am i just extremely unlucky?

p.s, i use the quick cycling method to cycle villagers.

I think you are just unlucky. I'm no longer cycling, but I had streaks like this, and I've heard this from others as well. Some have broken out of the cycle to talk to the reluctant mover a few times, and then TT'd day by day to get the cycling restarted, but I can't say for sure that it would help. Good luck!

Yeah, your just unlucky. ANY villager can move/will move out if your lucky enough or you put in enogh effort. Just keep cycling and some time, he WILL move out. Good luck!

I use the same method, and Broccolo is currently doing the same thing to me. I've gone from 2012 to 2050 probably about two to three times now, and he's still hanging around. I've just started to wonder if he enjoys living amongst weeds. >.>

I agree with SoSu. Sometimes talking to and befriending the villager helps. I have a couple stubborn villagers in my cycle, one of them is reserved, so I feel bad I can't get them out faster. They will eventually move however.
