I dunno' why, but I got to thinking about Kiki! She moved away from my town about a week ago and moved into my friend's town. She's from Kyushu, right? Kiki's catchphrase before she left was "kiss kiss". Do you think it goes back to default or something if she's going into what's essentially a Japanese game?

Just a thought, hm.

I don't think it goes back to default, but how do I know since the villagers I get are all 100% original?

It doesn't change, but if you were to complain to Isabelle then I think it sets it to default. I know names are different in Japan, so the name would definitely change

I guess that makes sense. I wonder if I should ask her for a screen shot? Now I'm curious, hahah.

Yep! Kiki's name is Caviar in Japan. c:
It was fun having her visit my town, and see all the photos in my house.

「 それはビンタだ、見て!とアンソニー!」

"It's Binta (Punchy)! And Anthony (Colton)!"

That's cute. I miss having Kiki in my town; she made me smile. Caviar makes her even cuter!

Yeah, I play in Japanese and their punchlines are very different. They had to change a lot because the sounds/things they say wouldn't really make sense in English or another language. For example, I think his name is Kevin in the English game, says uriuri in Japanese which means like "hey hey!" but in English they changed it to a normal pig sound, basically.
