I'm so annoyed right now. Yesterday I invited Fang to move in, and forgot that in my town there's a nice little woodland clearing with a mushrooms and a tree stump that villagers just LOVE to plonk their stupid house plots on.
To prevent it last time I put Lloid in the middle so no one could move on top, but this time I totally forgotttt D:
I've been trying to plot reset for about an hour or two now, and the only place Fang will put his house is in tthat area!!

Using this (http://animalcrossingus.tumblr.com/post/69131083206/this-guide-makes-extensive-use-of-the-nintendo) guide I thought it might be possible, having not loaded by game on my mayor yet, to change the date back to yesterday and put in a PWP before he moves in. But if I do that, will it mess up? I don't know if anyone can, but... HELPPPP!!!

Incorrect, it should be possible.

Since you have not loaded on the Fang-move-in-day (and you adopted him yesterday, right?), going back to the date of yesterday should count as staying on the same day of yesterday, as the game has not saved on 'today' yet =)

Wow, learned something new today. Thank you ^^

If you're still plot resetting, there's a difference from turning off your game using the power button and closing the actual game via menu. If you want Fang to move to a completely different spot, you have to quite the game via menu and not by the power button. I did that with Tammy since she would always move in right in front of my house. I hope this works for you.

Can confirm. I've done this many times, since I use new characters to scout movers. Safety net tactic so I don't accidentally lose any villagers.

I do find it weird that his plot wasn't moving though. How were you ending your game? And you're 100% positive you didn't log into your mayor or anything right? My only guess is if your town's pretty developed maybe there's only a few places he can move and you just got some insane (bad) luck on his plot placement, or there could possibly be no area that he can plot on aside from that one place (unlikely but I've seen it happen).

Or once again you just got some insane luck/misfortune/RNG hatred which resulted in a stubborn plot x3

I tried via power button and home menu, but the results were always the same for me D= I heard someone else say this too.. however, all is well now!

UPDATE:
I changed the date on my 3DS settings back to the day I'd invited Fang to move, and his plot was no longer in town. I was able to put a pwp in the place he'd kept moving to, and then changed the time back to the right date... and I was able to successfully move his house into the perfect spot at long last! =D
THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED! <3

It was definitely BAD luck.. As soon as I put a pwp there, he moved elsewhere. ='D there were at least two free plots of land where houses had previously been in my town, but noooo- he had to go bulldoze my forest x'D

Play the lottery tonight because that's some craaaazy luck!

I'm really glad you got him into a good spot~ I hope you enjoy him!
