Ankha is definitely first tier, she is very popular and I have seen her go for tens of millions very frequently. I think the villager tier is based more on prices than how many people actually want them, but you are right that some of the placements are outdated and need to be moved up and down(I think Rosie, Chief, and Fang can definitely be moved down).

I read it and it says "do not expect this to be accurate" but some of the first tier villagers just shouldn't be on there. It's pretty obvious that some of the first tier villagers aren't that popular.

I won't bother with it, I just wanted to see other peoples' opinions on this matter.

I think it's accurate and since he took the time out of his day to make it i use it. It's a big help to those trying to find their villagers new homes/trying to find dreamies

In my opinion, I think there should just be a poll on favorite villagers instead of deciding who's popular based on how much a certain villager shows up in signatures or how many times a certain villager shows up in the LF thread.

I mean, next there'll be a List of Pokemon based on popularity

I think people should just pay whatever they think is accurate for things they want and not follow a bias guide created by a small group of people.
 
I apologize if I upset anyone. I was just trying to have a discussion.

I agree, Jarrad. I'm not hating on the tier thing, I just was confused to why a few of the villagers were on the first tier.
 
it seems to me that the tier is always going to be inaccurate, because the op is the only person deciding where villagers should be placed. everyone else is just saying "marshal should be lower!!" or whatever, so there's no real discussion to make it more accurate.
 
The popularity of villagers fluctuates too quickly to come up with a list that will be accurate 100% of the time. There are often random spikes and drops that fix themselves after a day, and the list can't be updated that frequently.
A lot of the people who want the tier one villagers either can't afford them, don't have space or already have them, and since the list is decided based off of how many people have them as dreamies it can be a bit off sometimes.
 
It's not going to be accurate all the time.

But I think that Margie should be much higher than just Tier 4.
 
I agree that it's not accurate, but like others have said, it's difficult to keep it up to date EXACTLY how popular they are. I did not understand, however, how Wendy was tier 5 last time I checked yet it seems as if she's one of the most loved peppies. Hopefully she's moved up since then. I also don't think Chevre should be in tier 5, she's adorable and a lot of people seem to like her.

Not everyone is going to like the villagers in tier 1,
and not everyone hates the villagers in tier 5.
They're based on observations, not opinions of:
"But OMG ___ is cuter/better!"
"But what's so great about ___??"
