Villager moving out glitch?

Hello all, so I think I might be experiencing a new glitch.. Kidd pinged me to move out naturally, not forced out via amiibo, but HE WON'T LEAVE!!! I've time skipped to next days and I've even tried skipping a few days too but it just come up with 'bids farewell to <Villager> everytime and he is in boxes!! This has happened to me before with another village but I was able to move him by scanning an amiibo in, but I don't want to do that because I want an empty plot!!! I don't want to move another villager in, I wanna go island hopping!! Anyone else experience this and can help me?

I don't think I've heard of this happening, so I can't help, unfortunately, but please consider reporting this to Nintendo so they can hopefully fix it.

Yeah, I'll report it now I haven't seen anything about it so it makes me wonder!!

Even without TT this has happened to me, merengue pinged to move and I sold her then the next day came and her house was still there it just said 'moved out' I don't usually TT so the first time was very surprising to me aswell :/
