Villager moving cycle???

I'm new here so I'm not sure if anyone has posted this yet, but I was wondering...

So Pinky just told me about moving out. I told her to stay and she agreed (thank god huhu), but does that mean other villagers will start asking me if they could move out as well since I denied Pinky??? Is there a cycle?? I'm already at 9 villagers and I'm trying to get rid of 3 of them

At 8 villagers, no one will want to move out. It will take a few days for someone to ping you again for a move out

and i'm guessing it will be at a random day with a random villager?? or is it based on how much of friends you are with them, etc. ??

The higher the friendship, the higher the chance they will actually leave.

So, if they say "I'm going to move out" and you say okay, a lot of the time they won't leave if you have low friendship with them. Also, there might be a correlation between friendship and pings, but I'm not sure.

And when I mean they won't leave when I tell you, they'll say something along the lines of "No, I have to stay to become better friends with you!".
