Villager jingles sounding different? (Please read if you have Opal in your town?)

Has anyone noticed the little town tune jingle that plays before you talk to a villager sounding different after the update? While most of my villagers sound the same, I just talked to Opal and she sounds DRASTICALLY different.

EDIT: So far Opal is the only villager who has shown this sort of change, so I'm wondering if anyone who has had Opal since before the update, and now has the update, has noticed a change in her town tune greeting jingle thing?

Opal is a snooty. Also, I talked to Francine, my other snooty who lives in the town that I've updated, and her jingle sounds the same. So far, it's only been Opal who sounds different.

Could it be that your friendship level with her has gone up? I can't remember if this was a thing in NL.

I don't think so, I've had Opal for over a year so we're probably pretty maxed out. I don't think that the villagers change their town tune sound effects based on friendship.

I'm curious if anyone else who has Opal could comment on this? Maybe it's somehow just Opal only.

I just tried talking to Monty. It could have been my imagination but he maybe sounded a bit louder? Not like a ton but enough to feel like something is different.

YES. I talked to Groucho and it scared the heck out of me how loud he was. :O

The cranky voices are definitely louder.

I have Tucker and I noticed the instruments got updated. It's a nice touch~

I had Joan in my campsite, and her voice much different. I haven't checked to see if the villagers have changed yet!!

The change is especialy noticeable with the elephants music, much louder and a more tinny tone.
