Villager instantly moved out

I just tried to move out a village by inviting another one into my campsite, I was going to give away the village once they were in boxes but I timed traveled to the next day and they were fully moved out?

I’m just confused on why this happened, I did time travel back in time to do this so maybe that’s why

Did you kick out a villager from a campsite? I’m sure that the villager you kick from the campsite will be in boxes the same day you allow the camper to move in your island (If you’re talking about NH)

For campsites, once you tell a villager they can move in, they then ask someone to move out. If you let them, the villager they asked to move will go into boxes that day.

The day they'll be gone and the new one will be moving in.
