I don't know if anyone else has experienced this bug, but ...

I've been plot resetting for Canberra since Aug.30 and prior to that, I had 9 villagers. I started up again today plot resetting and noticed Beau's house was gone. Tried it again for 5x and still the same thing.

Super frustrating since it's never happened before, Beau happens to be one of my favourite villagers and well... this sucks. -__-;;; I really don't want to go through the hassle of the 16cycle. And nope, I never loaded up on my mayor or another character during this time.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is it possible for villagers to move out whilst plot resetting? I've plot reset once for 2 months and nothing like it happened, so... not sure why it has to be now. QQing lollll

resolved OTL tysmm!!!!

If enough days have passed, it's possible he moved. Whether or not you loaded up your mayor's file or not doesn't stop villagers from moving if enough days have passed. It might be safe to check in with you mayor every few days or so to see if anyone is getting ready to move.

Mmm, that sucks. I checked before I went to get a new villager in and no one was planning to move.. The point of plot resetting is not to load up the mayor or any other characters as that would mess with "plot resetting." This just never happened before, tried googling and haven't found anything u_u. But thanks for the reply~

edit- my guess is he might have had a move date, but after the fact i checked before. still weird since i've read on most plot reset guides that no villager can move out during that time. nonetheless, weird bug/unfortunate event.

Ah yes, I can understand why you wouldn't actually be able to check in with your mayor. The only other thing I could think to advise is to stay on the same date then, until the villager's house is plotted

Were you plotting with the 3DS clock or in-game one, because if it was the 3DS clock I'd TT backwards in time and see if he reappears?? If it was with the in-game I'm not sure how easy that would be.

I'm so sorry this happened! I just found a flaw in my layout where no more than 3 villager houses can be in the same 16x16 acre block and it means I'm 16 cycling out my two dreamie Wolves, so I definitely feel your pain!

Ah, yeah. That's true.. I think I'll start turning my time back via DS clock from now on when I plot reset.
Thanks for the idea =)

I plot without turning the time back, so I let it progress naturally via DS (so I guess that can be counted as DS time?!). So, I don't touch clocks at all since plot resetting can take me days. I'm going to try TTing backwards on my DS to see if his house will actually show up again.

I feel your pain too!! I want to reset, but may proceed with the 16-cycle ;v; Good luck with the cycling! n__n

I don't think you'll lose Beau if you turn back your clock to the last time you loaded up your mayor. That's why I always stay on the same day when I plot reset.

Gosh I hope he shows up, as long as you didn't save at any point he honestly should... otherwise that is the unluckiest glitch I've heard of, and I'm the plot reset master of taking forever!

Good luck with whatever happens for you too, and keep us updated :)

I set the DS clock back 5 days and his house is there again! Hallelujah

Thank you so much Mairen, Rochelle and Vizionari ♡♡♡♡ for the advice/suggestions. Lesson learned, keep it on the same day to plot reset (just never had this issue before), oghhh u_u. Who knew my game animals could make me have a roller coaster of emotions lmao, I'm so glad it worked though!!!
