Sometimes it's aggravating when villagers wear hideous outfits which clash with their colors; but with the right clothes they can look so adorable!



Do you have a pic to share of your villager in better/worse outfits?

This is one of my old designs I made specifically for my villagers. Since then I've removed the dark lines separating the colors and made three other color variations. I call them Cool Diamonds (as seen in the above), Beige Diamonds (varying brown, beige, white tones), Grey Diamonds (varying black, grey, white tones), and Berry Diamonds (deep purple, deep maroon, etc). The variation was much needed, but I'm quite proud as they suit nearly any villager regardless of color.

EDIT: I like how the belt emphasizes Rasher's pudgy tummy. Maybe not the best color, but cute regardless. x3

Almost all my villagers wear the dawn tank for some reason, but I don't mind it, I like the shirt and it suits my town's color scheme!

I love it when my villagers wear nice clothes, because they fit their design or because they just seem appropriate to their personalities. My villagers went through a stage of wearing a custom design I had in my Able Sisters (I put it there because I wanted one of them to wear it, since he wouldn't wear the many shirts I kept sending him) and that was fine because it was pretty neutral. Then they just started wearing ugly shirts that became contagious. Which ugly shirt it is depends, since clearly they go in and out of fashion. Plaid shirts were all the rage in my town for a while.

I think it was hilarious when I had those Anytown designs in my shop and villagers would wear the ugliest ones at random.

i don't have any pictures right now but i used to have four sailor scout shirts in the store, most of the villagers are still wearing them, even though i've put much cuter outfits in :/ and rosie once got most of my villagers into grape shirts. it wasn't good and then she moved on to rainbow tanks, not as bad, but still rosie. chill.

I love it when my villagers put on my friend's outfits because her outfits are so cute and they look great on all my villagers. I still have one villager lingering around with the default white shirt designed by "Someone" from "Anytown". They always exchange it with another villager before putting on a new shirt so even though the white shirt has been gone from my town for MONTHS now there is still one villager that still has it on.

Merengue is forever changing her outfits to horrible bright coloured ones -.- I hate it! I want her to stay in her cute little chef's jacket forever! I think that when you report their clothing to Isabelle, it should go back to the original clothing they war, not the gym tee : /That way it'd be much easier to keep them in a nice outfit!

On the other hand, Cheri changed her outfit roughly 5 minutes after moving into my town! She changes into a yellow chequered one and it looks so darn cute! MUCH better than her original one in my opinion! And I know that if I ever manage to get Daisy into my town, her shirt is going. It's too bright and colourful and I don't think it suits her!

I made shirts with everyone's face on... it wasn't very nice when they started wearing each other's faces. But Purrl gave everyone the Periwinkle tee... yay
