very cool fix with cyrus

i bought a new item at the hhp and i brought it back to my island and i needed to change its color, but i couldnt using the kits, so i went to cyrus and had it changed. a few hours later i wanted to send one to a friend and i went into the residential center to order it and both the original color and the newly made color showed up! full colored sets of everything now available? if so...AWESOME.

Yeah, when he recolors it, it counts as that variation for your catalogue so you aren't reliant on online trading to get variants. That's a big reason why most people were excited to see them in the update.

This is also part of Nintendo future-proofing the game in the 2.0 update, as now every element is accessible in-game without needing a Nintendo subscription for trading

i think its wonderful. i dont have many friends on the switch so i wasnt getting any of the different variations so i had to buy them here or on nookazon. theres a lot of amazing people on this forum and i just have to say thank you to everyone for helping me out!
