update suggestions for ACNL?

regardless of will it happen or not, do you have any ideas for updates? they don't even have to be legit or make sense, just drop 'em here.

personally, i'd love to be able to send letters across towns without having to be in another person's town. it would make trading items/giving gifts/bells/etc. so much simpler! one can only hope.

something i really wish could be updated would be if we could decorate our beaches/oceans!! i wish we could put pwps on the beaches or put our player houses on them because it's so darn cute in hacked towns.

i also think it'd be awesome if we had more underwater-species villagers who lived in the ocean, so at the beginning of the game, the player already has a wetsuit that auto-equips and they can swim out to go visit the little houses in the ocean! and we could decorate the ocean by placing floating seaweeds, or floating shells, or lily pads/other aquatic plants!

I think it'd be really neat if they added a new area (like the RV site) where either you could have more space for projects, having 2 additional villagers, or maybe a farming area that can earn you extra bells after harvesting.

Feel like these are kinda bigger updates, so much less likely LOL but! would still be cool to see, if not in a future game?

yes i agree! i've always wanted to be able to plot reset my town nicely but i know i absolutely do not have the patience. i wish we could lay patterns with the same happy home designer method of decorating, or something like it!!

I hope that they could add a backyard, or make it so we can move permanent PWP, like the RSC, Police Station, Campsite, etc.

More animal species, or just more "DLC" villagers in general would be cool -- none of this Amiibo card nonsense. I can't even find them in my city and online ones are super expensive.

We need more pattern storage. I don't want to make a 4th character in my town just for patterns.

1. Being able to edit a pro design without it reverting to a regular one. Like, what if I don't want to stand in ables as I create my pattern, and what if I change my mind lanter and just wanna edit a few pixels here and there?

2. Being able to toggle between emotions and chat without the chat text disappearing upon striking a pose. It'd be nice to be able to wave and whatnot part way through typing to avoid awkward silence if it's taking a while to type.

3. Bank transfers. Would be nice to be able to share your mayor's money with alts and friends without having to go through the rigmarole of withdrawing, dropping, picking up, depositing all those bells. It starts to get a tad tedious after a while tbh.

4. Being able to legitimately put bamboo in water and even turn it 90 degrees so you could have a wall of it lining the cliff edge, for example.

5. Being able to evict specific villagers at will. Because shouldn't a mayor be able to do that?!

6. Being able to customise villagers houses to the extent that it doesn't ruin their unique aesthetics but makes some of the houses less of an eyesore and all of them blend in better.

7. Being able to choose plots for villagers, or at least zone no-go areas around pathways, bridges, and near prime PWP locations.

8. Being able to move PWPs (for a fee ofc) rather than having to wait 2 days to destroy and rebuild them elsewhere.

9. Being able to customise villagers home if you have HHD, rather than having to deal with river fish and insects and badly placed furniture. Like Goldie, why did you put a cabinet in front of your piano with a beetle on top and the stool in front of the couch and the ottoman against the back wall and your shirt in the middle of the room?! I gave you such nice, matching things ^o^

I would like to be able to place patterns as tiles indoors like you can in achhd, I really want to be able to place rugs.

Also be able to hold more than just 10 designs.

Villagers asking where they can put their house instead of having to create a new character every time a new villager moves in to make sure they don't move to a bad spot.

Being able to interact more with furniture e.g my character was standing by the elephant slide and I so wanted to be able to go down it.

More variation in characters and dialogue, same conversation over and over again gets pretty tedious after a while.

More types of fish, bugs and deep sea creatures.

More badges to earn.

The option to save your favourite dream addresses when you visit the dream suite.

That's all I can think off for now.

I'd love a place to store paths, or buy paths even. I don't think the creators of this game intended paths to be a thing but now it's a very well known part of the game and so I think they should incorporate it into future games. Skin color options are a must. I'd also love a bigger town, a bigger main street, and little bit of a stretch, but please nintendo. please. maybe a way to have two towns on one copy of a game, or a way to unlock a second town. I'm interested in the theme of the next animal crossing game - will we still play the mayor? If Nintendo decides to let us build public work projects, or something along the lines of them, it'd be nice to have an easier way to get them, instead of waiting hours and hours to get a ping from a villager and it won't even be the pwp you want. So, just further development is what I want to see haha.
