Eagles and ostriches are great! The design overall looks pretty good. In my opinion the eagle and ostrich villagers look decent and not half bad. I'd say bunnies and cubs are cool too, I especially love pekoe, she reminds me of my favorite character from FMAB, I kinda want her in my town, but I all ready have two normals. So my town would be monotonous and boring, someday pekoe someday?

I think the mice, cubs, birds, frogs and ducks are underrated. In my New Leaf town I have lovely Bree and Miranda, they are so cute and tiny <3

I like Sheeps the most! They are fluffy and most of them are really cute! Wendy for example is a real gem in my opinion! (People who know me might remember my old Wendy avatar xD)

Definitely not cats unless you are me xD I dont like them very much at all in general.
Anteaters, birds, chickens, goats, kangaroos, seems everyone wants to have those top tier one villagers too that don't seem to be vast in species.

Squirrels are popular? Seriously, every one of them aside from Poppy and Marshall are Tier 4 or 5 if I recall. I still stand by my opinion that squirrels are underrated.

But if I had to go with something aside from them... Hamsters, goats, horses and eagles are very underrated.
