Time Keeper
I had 600+ once and stayed back a day in time to let more people in to sell. Sadly in was in the middle of a school week so it wasn't the best time for it to come around. I was okay with what happened there was one really nice girl but then there was a not-so-nice person.
So the nice girl let me into her town to buy turnips so I could earn some money myself. Prior to posting on the forums I had send a message to all my best friends. When I was in the middle of selling I got a message, "Could I drop by and sell turnips?" Now I had sent the message about the turnip price ages ago so clearly they had gone ahead and found a cheap price to buy turnips before messaging me. I knew this but I felt bad that someone who had just spent a lot of money (assuming they had filled all their lockers) had just wasted all that money. So I agreed but said I'd open tomorrow for them since it was late. They insisted they'd tip really well and wouldn't take too long. I ended up letting them in thinking maybe they hadn't brought turnips and had been busy up until now.
In short... They took an hour and a bit and I saw them several times just standing around doing nothing. I told them to stay on the paths while I was off doing work around my town but saw them running off the path tons of times just dodging my flowers. I ended up moving the flowers just to be safe. In the end they dropped maybe 6 bags of bells then I sent them home. When I went and picked them up it was 6 bags of 1,000 bells. =^= They deleted me afterwards and I've never heard from them since...
But I guess it was fine in the end. I don't really expect tips especially since I just sold a bunch for myself but they didn't need to go ahead and not listen to my only rule and then pretend to be tipping...? I'd rather they had just left without dropping money.
It can be really fun sometimes and I haven't had anything bad happen on the forums apart from having to remind people of a rule or two.
