Two quick questions

Ok so I've finally motivated myself to start some landscaping in my town (only like 9 months too late) and on a space where I plan to plant a row of trees there is a rock in the way, I just wondered if I can plant trees diagonal to rocks? I don't think you can so thay REALLY messes up my plans -.- Also I know abouy the 13th bush rule but I wondered if there are any ways to get around it by planting in specific patterns

you should imagine a rock is actually 3 x 3 tiles, the middle tile being the actual rock. in this area you cannot place trees/bushes/anything except for flowers and other items you can walk over.

1) I don't think you can plant it as long as it near the stone, must have at least one space away~

2) Also no~ you can try not to link it to 13th? or plant a flower on the 13th to make an opening and continue~ the reason for this is because they don't want entrance blockage =x

oh, another thing about rocks: pwp's and villager's houses can be as close to a rock as a tree can be, so 1 tile apart. (this means their "extra" spaces overlap)

ah no worries i didn't read it like that! rocks can be annoying :~/ but you can work your way around it and they can end up looking quite cute/alright! sometimes

LOL don't worry you can always work with it =D I now have all the permanent rocks in my town fit perfectly into my town~ no obstruction from it xD

It's so annoying! A long path could of been perfectly lined with trees but this stupid rock ruins it if it was just ONE space to the left it would be fine but no D:

I have exactly the same thing in my town =x but I still get over it nicely~

Sadly not, the path lines up perfectly with the bridge at the end and the path the other side of the bridge I thought about putting flowers next to it and the same the opposite side of the path but I think it might look silly in between trees

ah i see... hmmm that's tricky :~/ i can only think of making a more natural area instead of a path OR demolish your bridge + rebuild it but that is too much maybe for 1 silly rock

ah i see... hmmm that's tricky :~/ i can only think of making a more natural area instead of a path OR demolish your bridge + rebuild it but that is too much maybe for 1 silly rock

I don't know o.o you can visit my town via DA see if it helps. I have a few permanent too and they also fit in perfectly so I have no trouble arranging anything in my town =x
