I've never really been that interested in turnips, but I've gotten a bit into it now. But I remember in New Leaf the turnips would rot if you timetraveled. Do they do it now as well? I'm unsure because I bought turnips last week just so they could rot and I could catch an ant, but they didn't really rot until I timetraveled back to the sunday when Daisy Mae returned. So, what does it take for turnips to rot then? Can I safely buy a bunch and timetravel now??

I'm pretty sure if you TT forward, they're fine (obv as long as you remain within the week you bought them) but if you TT backwards at all, they rot.
