TTing question

Hi everyone! I want to go back to last week of October to grab an item (the Marigold decoration). My town is in "real time" right now.

My question is, which method of TTing the least consequence causing? Going backwards to October then coming back to real time? Or going forward to 2022 then coming back to real time? Thanks!

I think going backward would be easier--less event skipping & letters in the mail. xD

Going back any amount of time counts as one day, going forward is whatever amount of days it is.
You'd probably have less weed if you go back (and then forth) two months opposed to ten, but whatever happens will still happen. Messy hair, cockroaches, whiny villager dialogue. Nothing tragic.
