Trying to decide between Erik or Hornsby!

I'm trying to decide who I should keep for my second lazy villager. Erik was one of my first 5 villagers and I let him go but I've started missing him so much! He was super cute and I loved his antlers.

Now, I've never had Hornsby before but I met him on someone else's island through trading and thought, "damn he's the first rhino I thought was cute". I'm not a fan of his house interior, but it's not a huge deal to me.

I'm kind of in the middle between the two because Hornsby would be more variety for my island, but Erik was one of my first villagers and I genuinely missed him. But then again I already was planning to get Diana for my deer villager. Help!

hornsby!! i had the same situation as you! saw him and thought he was adooorable. houses matter a lot to me so i went with stu instead, but i really think its nice to have ~uncommon villagers.

I love Erik. I found him on a random island and really clicked with him.

But I feel like I hardly ever see anyone with Hornsby and he's genuinely cute. I would say go with him!

Hornsby is super cute but I'd go with Erik! I personally wouldn't care about having 2 deer villagers, especially since Erik and Diana look so different and Erik is really a moose.

I like them both so I can't really help you with which. I heard Erik's house interior is no longer a ski lodge/cabin in NH...which, doesn't really change me liking him overall, but it is a semi downer since it was so cute in NL. I only mention it because you said you didn't like Hornsby interior so you may want to check what Erik's is now if that may bother you.
