Transferring Data from a Downloaded copy to a Physical copy.

So, here's the situation. A long time ago, I wasn't sure if Animal Crossing would be my thing. So, at the time, I decided to only download the digital version because it was pretty cheap at the time. But nowadays, I know I love AC so... I do wish I had bought the physical copy. So I was wondering... assuming I buy the AC:NL cartridge (Don't mind paying again, really) is there ANY way to transfer my town from the digital copy to the physical copy?

I know there's an App on the Nintendo eShop called Save Data Transfer Tool but I've read that it only allows you to go from physical to digital, not the other way around. As such, is there anything I can do to transfer my data?

I'm not really sure here, but I think you can not do it.. you can try to google though, I might be wrong!
