recently for christmas i got a nintendo switch (i previously had the switch lite) so i transferred my acnh data to my new switch. since then i noticed that my hours in the game have not changed. i still have the island transfer tool thing, and i’m starting to believe if that’s the reason why. i have two questions, 1. why aren’t my hours changing? and 2, is it safe if i delete the island transfer tool without my data being lost? the last thing i want is for my acnh progress to be gone
You have to make sure you have 2 copies of ACHN in order for the transfer process to work. If you had a digital copy and if the 2nd switch doesn't have one it will somehow block it because the user on the other switch doesn't own it. If you were using a different user then that may explain why the hours didn't change. It has to be your main account that has those hours on it, because if you use a new user the hours won't be there. Its confusing to explain but, thats how I see it.
